Toppling Penguins

I was recently told a little story about penguins. Apparently, during the Falkland’s war the army had to employ additional members of staff because they had penguin issues. It has be said that when a penguin sees a plane flying overhead it cannot help but watch it and follows the plane’s flight further and further overhead until the penguin topples over backwards. The extra staff were needed to help pick up all the fallen penguins as they could not get back up on their own!

I loved this little tale and really hope it’s true and whenever I feel a little down, I think about all these toppling penguins and can’t help but giggle.
